30/10/05 Imagefile.ie v9.0 Launch

ByteSurgery launched Imagefile.ie v9.0 at the beginning of October. It was hard to fathom there had been 8 other versions, but chugging out one a year since 1996, I guess that’s possible! My web development grew up with Imagefile.ie, as it’s a family business, you tend to always implement to test the latest technologies or ideas on it. It’s funny, I think we were using flash on it, way back before many people had it. Now they sell prepackaged flash movie bundles, oh how times have changed!

If you have seen the Internet Archive before, take look. You can follow though all the versions of Imagefile.ie from 2001, and then before that the domain was slidefile.ie, which you can see also back to 1998.

That’s a cool little app, isn’t it! They must have some serious storage space.
