06/11/05 Ad Supported Services
ByteSurgery has used the ad-supported services model successfully over the last two years with FindMeATent.com, FindMeAGPS.com and the Geared Up Blog. These sites use the Google Adsense program which displays a pay-per-click advert on each page. It works very well, and in result, Google sends a monthly cheque to ByteSurgery.
So it’s with interest today, we see the launch of a new programme, the ‘Google Referral Program’. Obviously there’s competition in the air with Yahoo’s product as Google are now willing to pay me $100 if someone clicks this button, signs-up and earns themselves $100. Sounds a good deal!
