I’ve taken the use case scenario from my dissertation on ‘CommentCasting’, and provided it as an explanation to those who’ve just joined us.
Time shifted audio presents a problem that live radio has always avoided. Unlike streaming broadcasts, the show has already happened in the past, leaving listeners who wish to contribute without the means to do so. It is possible to visit the podcasters blog after listening and leave comments on the respective post, but it is unlikely other subscribers will read them.
