22/04/06 Almost a B.Eng in Digital Media Engineering

The dissertation on my CommentCasting system is done. Two copies delivered and I’ve an interview by my examiners on Tuesday. I’m very pleased with progress made during the period, and I think both the project and report speak for themselves.

A big thank-you to everyone in the blogosphere who’ve championed and supported CommentCasting thus far, and I look forward to continuing discussions with you all into the summer.

After all these years, I’ve only 4 hours of lectures, 2 hours of laboratory work, one and a half assignments (Huffman Compression Java Application & A Linux Firewall) and three 2 hour exams (Digital Audio Processing, Image Processing & Analysis and Multimedia Technology) before I’m qualified. Bring it on!
