20/10/06 TechCrunch UK Launch Party

Many thanks to Tom for sorting me an invite to the TechCrunch UK Launch Party last night. Must thank Fergus too - for all the introductions! It was a good night meeting a varied mix of VC’s, Head-Hunters, Producers & Entreprenuers throughout the night.
Pity Mike Arrington never showed - not to mention the Steve Ballmer rumour on the night!
One thing I did notice - nobody (at all!) blogged the event before hand maybe to keep it ‘invite only’. I think you can bet one thing for sure - they’ll all be blogging it afterwards to let people know they were there.
And yes- I managed to get to work by 8.30am! And no- I havn’t e-bay’d off #561 of Hugh’s Lithograph yet :-)

Robin - no worries, glad you had a good time.
I just noticed now that Hugh did write it up a couple of days ago.
Very few have written it up today though - were we the only bloggers there?
