15/02/07 Thanks to my Plotters!
Since my request for test result data for my ByteSense app I launched yesterday, I’ve had my mailbox flooded with lots of plots of people’s earnings. It’s great to see & thank you very much!
A few further submitted suggestions of improvement required:
- Allow for custom plot sizes
- Be able to switch on/off individual lines
- Show Max/Min levels
- Auto calibrate the trend-line, by calculating it half way and seeing how accurate it is by ‘all time’.
- Make fonts TTF, so they alias nicely.
- Save people’s data over time for cross comparisons between trends.
- Compile people’s trends (not actual amounts) for overall stats of how people are fairing on Adsense.
- Make it clear that right now, nothing is saved and the only record is left on your screen (the file you upload is deleted immediately once read, and the memory cleared once the graphic is output to screen). - and I chuck away all the bits (CTR) that breech Google’s TOR at the start.
I may publish an anonymous gallery of the trends without figures soon. The most interesting thing everybody has serious growth happening. Nobody is flat-lining, everyone is climbing.

ummm. confused… if no data is saved how will you compile trends and how do you know everybody is climbing if ‘he only record is left on your screen ‘… not looking for a conspiracy here you understand, just genuinely confused! :)
See, that’s what you get for staying up this late… you lose the ability to read.
Thanks v much Frank.
At the moment the app does not save any data for later. it just forecasts with everything you give it at the time. Notes are a great idea. What I may do is save those - not the data (so it gets fresh data every time).
