22/03/07 Thanks Tom! - Dealers of Lightning

Thanks Tom!

I got a surprise today, an Amazon parcel arrived by courier! Tom Kendall, my ‘Tech Mentor’ and Transition Year mathematics teacher had given me a little clue to what I might get:

If you haven’t read it, you’re not going to believe how much technology that you use today came out of the place. That’s all I’m going to say!

I unwrapped it.

Thanks Tom!

Well, this is perfect Tom… thanks a million. I’m really looking forward to reading ‘Dealers of Lightning’, having just finished iWoz which is of the same era, and with a cousin working as a researcher in PARC (Palo Alto Research Center) it’s a superb fit!

Cheers! Will post a review on completion (expect it to take a while - man it’s a thick one!).

25/04/07 Team Geared Up Blog » MTBGuru.com: Share Your Routes

Photos taken during the trip can be uploaded and are automatically attached to the point on the map where they were shot. [...]
