14/11/07 Cyclecasting: I’ve got the kit

LONDON, UK - I’ve got my Cyclecasting kit now.

I bought a small 9V camera with built in mic for mounting on the helmet. It also has a separate mic port I can plug in an external mic on, so I can handlebar mount facing back at me, that’s what I wanted originally.

I also bought an extremely cheap MP4 recorder. Unfortunately it does some silly file format, but it does work direct from the camera.

Now I just need the right connectors to hook them up together before it gets too cold to pedal!

Hi Robin, I just ordered the ATC2000 wireless helmet cam camera with a 2GB card from a powerseller on ebay. Only cost me €100 with the $ exchange rate including delivery. Anticipating delivery any day now!
