15/11/07 BT Hothouse on Unified Communications
LONDON, UK - Next week I will attend the BT ‘Unified Communications‘ Hothouse here in the UK. Hothouse explained:
BT has adopted a rapid-prototyping scheme in which new projects are adopted or rejected during three-day “hothouse” sessions, working with early-adopter customers. Thereafter projects must deliver results on a 90-day cycle, inspected by an external examiner, or face the chop.
Three of us are attending to represent our company as the ‘customer’ in the design process, I’m really looking forward to it. I’m really interested in the whole concept of a hothouse and would like to organise one myself.
I am hoping to re-connect with J P Rangaswami who I hear will be in attendance as BT CIO. We had a brief exchange at the Facebook Debate in the BT Centre earlier this month and I’ve been enjoying his blog since.
I’ve already sent apologies to the British Interactive Media Association (BIMA) and the Irish International Business Network (IIBN) as I will now miss their events Mulley Breakfast Bites & Aer Arann casestudy event. They both look excellent events!
London. So many events, so little time.
