01/03/08 2008 Best Irish Technology Blogger
SINGAPORE - Wow… I’ve just been awarded “Best Irish Technology Blogger” at the 2008 Irish Blog Awards. I’ve been in Singapore for all of 2008 so far and so I was tuned into the Dublin event via EdgeCast to watch the live stream from here (pictured above) and with text updates from everyone on twitter.
Big thanks to Mum for doing my acceptance speech. Mother’s day tomorrow - I really owe you now! You were super - I was tuned in and watching live (pictured below!). Thank You! I must add, mum has taken to blogging like nobody else I’ve ever seen and within her first year is a finalist herself for Best Personal Blog.
And thank you to everyone for encouraging me to keep writing, its your comments that count! It’s 5am here now - once I’ve heard the result from mum’s category… I need to go and sleep on this!
Cheers,
-Robin.

Very well done Robin, and your mum did you proud. It was a wonderful night and I so enjoyed meeting your mum and very patient sister.
I want to thank you for the IBA Logo for my blog. It is there to remind me every time I open the home page!
No probs Grannymar! Thanks for encouraging mum along too!
