Danger

CHICAGO, UNITED STATES - I’m getting sick of geeks creating more tools for geeks.

Go get a hobby off your computer and solve a real problem.

It has to do one of two things…

  1. Use technology invisibly in the background so people don’t know where the magic is happening. It just happens.
  2. Bring new people into technology, so they understand where the magic is happening. New users - not the same 65,000 geeks who sign-up to be able to associate tags with everything in their life.

If your idea is technology for technologists it probably won’t go anywhere. Go find a real problem that real people have and solve that.

Move away from the computer - socialise with the 99.99% of people who haven’t heard and don’t want to hear about Flickr, Twitter or RSS.

-Robin.
