My suggestion is to mix it up a bit and do a less informal interview. You could get people in the scene to interview other people and you could facilitate.. Also if your going to interview people give some background on the people before or after .. Maybe cover off some things they have been doing (if they didnt mention it in the interview).

Don’t worry about stepping on feet or you will soon find feet to be stomped on.
