15/12/08 D4H Metrics: AARRR!
DUBLIN, IRELAND - We’ve had 7,500+ application sign-in’s from rescue workers on D4H now. Time to do some metrics ‘like a pirate ARRR’ ala Dave McClure. I’ve excluded all test/dev accounts from this data, so this is all ‘for real’ data - rescue workers managing their teams.
Over the 6 months, broken down by day, we’re seeing an increasing trend in the number of sign-ins (this includes the increase of users too). This data is the number of unique people who sign-in on a single day, it’s sitting at around 60 uniques. The number of total sign-ins on a day including recurring visits with a gap of more than 30 minutes, is sitting at around 100 a day.

Now to figure out…
- are individual levels of sign-ins increasing? Are users using the site more?
- Is there a drop off rate? Once the ’shiny new toy’ wears off?
- Does usage match the whole team? Does it spread?
- Are there any features implemented where daily usage increased?
Tomorrow I have to write my business plan chapter on ‘Market Research’ for Hothouse Ventures. It’s difficult, as I find this data to be my market research - not what Gartner say (required!).
AARRR! Acquisition (Landing)…Activation (Sign-up) … Retention (Multiple)… Referral (Pimp)… Revenue (Pay) more…
-Robin.
